About Noter
Noter started in October 2026 with a simple problem: notes scattered across OneNote, Notion, Zoho Notes and Evernote after years of trying each one. Every app did something well, and none did everything.
So Noter takes the parts that worked. OneNote's notebooks and coloured sections. Notion's clean editor and / commands. Evernote's habit of keeping everything in one searchable place. And a proper to-do list next to it all, because most of the notes worth taking end in something to do.
What we care about
- Your notes are yours. Nobody at Noter reads them. You can export everything at any time, and deleting your account deletes your data.
- Calm over clever. Fewer buttons, fast search, and nothing that interrupts you while you write.
- Fair pricing. Noter is free while it's being tested. If it later needs a small fee to cover hosting, you'll hear about it well in advance.
Who makes it
Noter is built and run by Bharath, with the help of Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic. It isn't a company product or backed by investors. Feedback goes straight to the person building it: get in touch.
